Well I have used conair straightners before and they def dont get the job done. The best straightner is made by CHI. I am not sure if Sydney sells this brand but def look into it.

If you cant find anything better than conair, which I used for a while, you can blow dry it as straight as possibly by using one of those brushes that lets air through and pulling the hair down while drying. Then use a clip and straighten your hair in about 5 or 6 sections and go slowly. I used to do that my conair and I also have curly/ wavy hair that was difficult to straighten. Now that I have a better hair straightner its a lot easier, but I dont know what you would be able to find in Sydney.

First you have to wash your hair, then apply some serum or cream "heat protector" and dividing in small sections dry your hair with the blower. With a blow dryer put a lil bit of oil and blow dry in

the same spot until it is straight....

its better than flat irons or any thing else trust me

i've heard japanese straightening is really good....but it's like a perm....it's kinda permanent.....other than that any straightener is prob. good. make sure it's the riite size though. try checking out a local salon or beauty supply store! GOOD LUCK!~kix
